One Life To Live epi on 8-27-08 Part 1 of 5

Part 1 Summary:It's a new day in Texas as Rex and Gigi get ready to return home to Llanview. Gigi calls Shane, who's thrilled to hear from her, and Brody, who's not happy to hear Gigi found Rex. Gigi has a bone to pick with Brody -- why the hell did he tell Rex they slept together? Brody says sorry, but look: They're building a family together, and he didn't want Rex to mess that up. Gigi doesn't fall for Brody's distraction tactics and says there's a lot to talk about when she gets back. Rex is upset he missed out on Shane's life but plans to make it up to him. Gigi's worried about telling Shane the truth, because Shane and Brody have really bonded. Gigi frets that Shane won't forgive her for lying to him and wants to make things right as soon as possible. That means Rex has to divorce Adriana, and Gigi has to kick Brody out (and break his heart) and get Shane to understand that the guy he's called Dad his entire life is not his dad and that his friend Rex is his dad AND the love of Gigi's life! Yikes! Shane can't wait for his mom to get home so he can tell her the big news: Brody and Shane are a DNA match made in heaven! No one can separate them now, thanks to Adriana. To celebrate, Shane makes Brody a scrapbook of his life. Brody's so touched that he no longer feels guilty about "rigging" the paternity test. Tess wants to make sure Todd keeps mum about her return, so she drops by for a "casual" visit to John at the police station, to getting him to back off of Todd ...
